30 Day Return Policy

You must call first before returning any products! 810-735-8600

• In the event of a return, the Purchaser must pay for all shipping charges of the products that are being returned. We will only honor returns on unopened products. Please make sure that you pick the appropriate color and/or product necessary to complete your project. Please email us if you have any color or technical questions at  sales@thestainshop.com or call 810-735-86000.

Orders With Free Shipping:

• Please understand that although we give free shipping on orders of 30 gallons or more, it actually costs us $20-$35 per 5 gallon pail depending on your zip code. Once the product(s) are returned to our warehouse we will credit your card less our original costs of shipping your order. 

Orders Without free shipping:

• If you did not order 30 gallons or more then we will credit you the full price on your invoice minus the invoiced shipping charges.

Exchanges:

• You must call for all exchange requests! 810-735-8600
• The Purchaser will be responsible for all shipping charges. This includes charges for return of original product(s) and charges for shipment of replaced product(s) back to the customer. We will not send out the new item until we receive the original first. We will not exchange sealers, cleaners, strippers, or brighteners that have been opened or partially used.

Warranties:

• All items carry manufacturers warranty only.No exceptions!

Wood Deck Stain Colors:

• The final color of your deck is determined by age of wood, preparation of wood, application of stain, and type of wood. We will not accept returns or exchange any opened products due to color. Please email us if you have any color questions at sales@thestainshop.com

Damaged Orders:

• Any product that is accidentally damaged causing product loss during shipping will be replaced at no charge after a claim has been made though the shipping company. Cans or pails that are dented during shipment will not be replaced unless leaking. A digital picture will be required. We will handle the claim. Please call for details (810-735-8600).
