Deck Sanding

Sanding a deck floor will give your deck that “new look” for a fraction of the cost.  Painted floor boards will peel and chip, creating ongoing maintenance headaches along with an unsightly deck.  The Stain Shop's team of professionals will come sand off the old finish to create a “new” deck floor. 

After the deck is sanded, the next step is to put on a penetrating oil based finish that will soak in to the wood and protect from the inside out.  Like all stains and sealers, these finishes will fade out over time, however, it can be easily washed and recoated.   The vertical surfaces can remain a solid finish for easy maintenance and a two- tone look, if desired.
